running, bomb tech

I can't even think about it in an organized fashion.

Highlights: That Woman sharing her wine cooler with her 20-month old daughter (Cousin Krystal)

Grandma and Great-Grandma having verbal bitching at each other (no hitting anymore, Great-Grandma's too old for that)

four and five year olds screaming and not sharing

Cousin Jade curled up in my lap reading with me

Cousin Jewel and Nephew playing on Grandma's computer

Cousin Krystal wandering around smiling and being cute

Nephew getting cranky and being put down for a nap; Grandma yelling at Sis to stop her kid from yowling.

Sneaking out to watch the sunset and hit the pocket flask of peppermint schnapps with Votania

Crocheting in the corner of the couch and smiling sweetly

Votania telling me afterwards that I got to see the family on their best behavior, since I shamed them into being nice by being so nice and sweet myself. They couldn't let a stranger outshine them in terms of politeness, you see, and I was being exquisite. They failed.

Adam came over yesterday. A good time was had by both. Votania came home in the middle of it, and called out inquiring whether or not I was at home.

I then got chewed out, minorly, for talking with my mouth full.

Darkside met Alan this morning fairly early. The world did not explode; there were no visible fireworks.

Both of them were very quiet: Alan because it was morning, Darkside because he is not talkative around strangers.
