Sync Issues

Grar. AzureBlue (my palmtop) will not communicate with the mothership.

Smackdown will be laid when we come fully conscious (after the rest of our sleep, that is).

Dreamed there was wedding stuff going on, and random magazines, some of which were evidently rare. Someone got most of them, and gave them all to this guy she'd just met who she was going to marry; I held onto mine and schemed. I knew who I was going to exchange mine with, but the time was not yet right, even though I'd shown up at the store on the corner where he was working the early shift and he'd almost kissed me.

I tried to go to the choir concert, to perform, but since I hadn't been enrolled in classes, I was unable to participate. Then I ran into my parents, and when they heard my plans for the rare magazine, they frowned and looked grave. It was because they thought that he was certainly a nice young man, but much too prissy and boring for me -- a bad mismatch. So I stressed over that.

Things were on their way towards resolution. There were things going on in the apartment. I stepped out and saw thette and kjn (in person as themselves, not just generic-humans with in-dream labels) walking down the parking lot en route to somewhere, something honeymoon-ish. They were stressing about that, but had that certain goofy giddiness. (I'd just looked at the wedding picture, so you were fresh in my mind. Congratulations!)

wolfieboy: "The one thing you can't trade for your heart's desire is your heart" is one of my favorite lines from that book, and not quite ten years ago, I wrote those words on the whiteboard in my room and left them there so long that I had to scrub furiously to make them come off the whiteboard all the way.

Three and a half day weekend

It's coming up on the slow season, so they're taking volunteers to take random days off. I took the latter half of today and all of tomorrow, giving me a three-day weekend.

Hooray three-day weekends.

Client fun.

Posting with my shiny new Semagic.

Still sharp words over there...

Palmtop, hooray!

I smacked the settings on AzureBlue's sync stuff about, and now she's syncing properly (it looks like).

It transpires that whenever I edit stuff in the Yahoo address book, I need to make sure that things sync up right after that, or else they'll continue not doing so, and then I'll have to scream.
