bondmates, sigil

Spreading the insanity, one user at a time...

*snicker*

So. There's now a figment0 on board. Bwahaha. I trust that this young man will need little introduction?

Warning, he's more likely to lurk and check LJ every month or so rather than keep up on it daily or weekly. Oh, and read stuff when I tell him he needs to read something.

Next, converting Darkside to the Dark Side of the Int-- use of an online journaling service....

Ewwww, I'm using AOL!!!
old school hacker, bug

Tech Fun

I was up until 2-ish last night with a recalcitrant old installation of '98 on an utter dinosaur. It's used, and this is at least the second owner on this installation. I found myself singing, "Please don't call me, I won't call you, don't ask me to fix it for you: I'm not Bill Gates, I'm tech support!"

What figment0 and I really need to do is have a few words with AOL tech support and get things changed; he really needs his OWN login and password for the bleedin' ISP, not his late wife's.

Eh, little by little. This time we actually GOT ONLINE FOR MORE THAN TWO SECONDS, which is a new recent record.

I think I'm'a have a few words with Comic Pirate Super when I get in, words like "please" and "for entertainment purposes only" and suchlike. And words with figment0 involving "backup" and "You have the installation disks for some of this, right?" and "You have got to be bloody kiddi-- ... of course you don't. Of course not."
