Boba! Boba?

I experimented with tea last night. I got myself some tapioca balls on one of our shopping runs, and last night I boiled some up and put them in tea. My undermind wants them in chai. Nice sweet spiced milky chai with tapioca bits in. I got the straws, too.

Unfortunately, what I had last night was not spiced, and was only made milky with a healthy shot of "lite" whipped cream. It was still pretty good.

I have been fairly reliably informed that the boba is all mine, with no need to share.

“That was really intimidating right there. I went, I gave plasma, that was quite all right. I was coming back, I noticed that things were looking like they were starting to storm, lighting flashing a little, et cetera.

I decided I was going to go turn in cans anyway, 'cause goodness knows I could use a little spare change around. And I I decided against getting off the freeway at the Dunlap exit and instead went for Peoria, and to get to the can donation place in the parking lot of the Fry's at 35th and Peoria I figured, you know, I'd just get off the freeway, go under the bridge, everything would be fine.

Under the bridge there were two cars stalled out under the bridge,
your little race cars of the sort that have mufflers too big for their own good, that sort? Two of those were stalled under the bridge because the water was too high for them. I was kind of intimidated driving under it with Vash 'cause I could feel water sloshing against the bottom of the floorboards. It was kinda scary! And to top it all off, right before it was my turn to go through the intersection, there was this big lightning and thunder so fast you couldn't even count right overhead, the traffic light started blinking for a bit. It was -- it was something!

But yes, I'm OK, and I'll be going home pretty shortly. Bye, LJ.”
