Candles

The "I'm thinking of you" candle from yesterday afternoon burned itself out late in the evening, the flame flickering about inside the metal cup of the taper holder. When the candle finally extinguished itself, there was nothing left of the wick or wax but a residue clinging to the metal.

Lit another "I'm thinking of you" candle, seeing my star as I lit it.
