Braaaaaaaain... (clonebits)

So we've got these two old Compaq Igorboxen. One was originally named Neo (his name, as per the Little Fayoumis, is now "Mitch"), and the other one got named Lord Mark when we realized that he was Neo's younger, grouchier, brain-damaged clone-twin.

Now, Lord Mark's defective hard drive is going to be removed and junked, and his RAM is going to be given to his older brother.

... Yes. Lord Mark's brain will be junked, and his body used for spare parts for his clone-twin.

It strikes me with some satisfaction that the primary damage Miles took from the cryofreezing is NOT something that he could use cloned parts to fix. Even if he had a bright-new body, he'd still have the same damaged brain causing the seizures.
Gone away, gone ahead,
Echoes roll unanswered.
Empty, open, dusty, dead.
Why have all the Weyrfolk fled?

Where have dragons gone together
Leaving weyrs to wind and weather,
Setting herdbeasts free of tether;
Gone, our safeguards, gone, but whither?

Have they flown to some new weyr
Where cruel Threads some others fear?
Are they worlds away from here?
Why, oh why the empty weyr?
