There is a real-live Mary Sue at my workplace. She doesn't look like a Sue, because she's just an ordinary woman, and very quiet, but her actual name is Mary Sue. I am far too amused by this, because while it's supposedly a reasonably common and mundane name, I'd never actually met a real Mary Sue before.
