Good music and a good attitude do a lot to keep me perky and doing things. Something about a candle going, incense on, a nice night, and the back door wide open with music on reasonably loudly makes me want to clean and do other domestic things.
There are now cherries on sale at Sprouts. I got two bags of them. Yay cherries! I may well leave some of them soaking in sugar syrup in the refrigerator until they're well-preserved and scary and actually low-chemical preserved cherries that I can actually eat. That would just utterly rock. Then I can dip them in chocolate and tell everyone to beware the pit if I was feeling particularly lazy.
I have found the AC -> DC converter plug for the printer! I am happy now! I have also found the cable for the little crap camera, which also fills me with the sorts of glee that are somewhat clinically alarming to people who do not know geeks well. They were both in a Big Bin O' Electronics on a shelf that had been obscured by the coffee table. It is fairly likely that the USB cable between printer and computer is a garden-variety USB cable, as I do not recall anything special about it.
The taste of today has been the very concentratedly spicy cinnamon flavor of Atomic Fireball candies. Those were a childhood favorite; I'm glad to see that I've retained my taste for them.
I need to ask Guide Dog Aunt about the availability of laundry facilities at Grandma's, because that will make changes in my packing. Not much, true, but enough to make a difference.
Everything is re-organized yet again, and it's probably time to knock off for the night and hit the showers and get some sleep before work. It really does look better in here. I don't feel so bad about the idea of having someone close to me (say, Darkside) come over and see the mess now.
I can see where additional storage needs to be, and I can see how it will take care of things that need taking care of, and this is a good thing. I think I will fit into this apartment soon enough. I daren't acquire too much furniture that is not storage furniture: that is to say, my furniture must be high-storage, low-footprint, but I don't think that will be much of a problem.
So. Things progress well. I do need good storage and sorting for my software! And I need a shower!
