Resolved: that the ladies of
freshstartwrite shall stop attempting to adopt the gentlemen found at local nanowrimo meet-ups. Other ladies are just fine, but adopting gentlemen seems to end in tears. Or AK-47s. The exception to this is
jetpack_monkey, but he didn't really stay adopted. We may socialize with them and hang out with them, but under no circumstances are we to adopt them as we would one of our sisters. It just doesn't work that way.
(In case this ever comes up -- transgendered sisters in writing are cool, and transgendered brothers in writing are to be treated with the appropriate cautions, because to do otherwise just wouldn't be fair.)
(Any appropriately flaming gay-type males who are out of the closet and not brandishing AK-47s can submit their applications separately.)
(Gentlemen met outside of NaNo may also submit their applications separately, whether or not they are flaming.)
