(unofficial word from someone in a position to know via the wonders of IRC channels) Outgoing LJ mail is backed up rather extremely. They're hoping for recovery in a few hours, but until then, do not rely on anything being timely, blah blah blah. (OMG I am so glad this particular dude comes in to channel to tell us these things, because it makes such a difference in site expectations when I *know* something is going to suck before I experience it, vs. finding out about suck firsthand first.)
